i saw on the forum some people run ut99 in open gl.
i hear things like its closer to glide the 3dfx vodoo driver and that ut99 was originally made for glide.
when i run ut99 in open gl the screen gets very dark does anybody know how to resolve this issue.

my system: i have a pentium 4 3 ghz ,2gb ddr 2 ram and a ati x 850xt
and i use xp

is there someone on the forum who knows alot about linux.
all i use on my pc is msn,email.browser,ut99 and i listen to mp3,s.
im thinking about putting linux on my second pc and making it my main pc
it has pentium 4 2ghz 1gb pc 2100 ram and a ati 9700 non pro and some creative soundcard.
i,ve tried linux before but i never suceeded in getting ut installed.

i start the game for the second time and all of a sudden it looks dark again.
something is wrong.

know its ok but it was really weird like it went back to the old driver by itself

it keeps switching by its own will between driver versions

there must be some file that forces the driver to run in a backwards mode but i cant find it
