did u have all time at the 2. hub a timeout ?
the first request at chris's tracert are to much high.
maybe your router/modem has a wrong configuration, or you need a firmware update?

because today some little errors at my line.

The best line from "outbreak" has erwin & otto with a optimal setup modem/router combo;
less ping at start without erros and with a low increase over the target.
