when i have vsync or my fps is locked to my refrsh rate, 85hz/85fps limit atm, my ut plays "ok" its kinda stuttery but its playable and i can dodge ok and see ppl ussually
but the important thing is when my fps is the SAME as my refresh i get mouse lag
if i play with my fps higher then my refresh rate then the mouse doesnt lag as much, at 85hz and 110 fps i can do a almost perfect 270 turn and shoot, at 85 i cant do a steady 180, at 150 or higher fps i can do a perfect 360 combo in the space i cant do a 180 in normal
my settings:
SwapIntercal=-1/0
1024x768x16 85hz(in ut)
FrameRateLimit=85
using opengl
desktop 1280x1024x32 60hz
timedemo shows my fps limit so vsync is off
i have tried 100hz 800x600 and 100 fps, also with and without vsync, no matter what it lags when fps is same as refresh rate
this wudnt be an issue, i wud just put it at 150 and leave it right ??
but when my fps is more than 5(yes 5) over what my refrsh is my ut is unplayably stutterry, it looks and feels like i am warping round the screen, it shakes, and i can hardly see other players....
but the mouse works perfect
i can either stay with a smooth(ish ut) or play with my mouse working properly and not be able to play ut
