Yes, i have done everything to try and get my ut working properly ...


when i have vsync or my fps is locked to my refrsh rate, 85hz/85fps limit atm, my ut plays "ok" its kinda stuttery but its playable and i can dodge ok and see ppl ussually

but the important thing is when my fps is the SAME as my refresh i get mouse lag :(

if i play with my fps higher then my refresh rate then the mouse doesnt lag as much, at 85hz and 110 fps i can do a almost perfect 270 turn and shoot, at 85 i cant do a steady 180, at 150 or higher fps i can do a perfect 360 combo in the space i cant do a 180 in normal

my settings:

SwapIntercal=-1/0
1024x768x16 85hz(in ut)
FrameRateLimit=85
using opengl
desktop 1280x1024x32 60hz

timedemo shows my fps limit so vsync is off

i have tried 100hz 800x600 and 100 fps, also with and without vsync, no matter what it lags when fps is same as refresh rate

this wudnt be an issue, i wud just put it at 150 and leave it right ??

but when my fps is more than 5(yes 5) over what my refrsh is my ut is unplayably stutterry, it looks and feels like i am warping round the screen, it shakes, and i can hardly see other players....

but the mouse works perfect


i can either stay with a smooth(ish ut) or play with my mouse working properly and not be able to play ut

ah this sucks! got some problems with ut 2, but not that serious, dunno much about pc's so i cant help you, sorry man!

maybe reset to default opengl settings first.
I played without Framelimit, with limit i feel stucks on screen, the netspeed of the server limit your Refreshrate automatic.
Sample on Fraggazone= Netspeed 8000 limit to ~145 Frames on my PC, so i dont need Framelimit activate too.

RefreshRate=0 helps cus its now running at default which is 60hz 200fps

the smoothness during gameplay is very noticable but i think i can see ppl now, still miles behind the smoothness my ut normally runs at

but its nice when u can play woot, go over one of the bounce pads, hit one of the light on the lamp on the far pad to the left quickly and then while not even half way in mid air do a super quick 180 turn and hit the other 1 perfect

god i love when my mouse works, that shot is impossible 99/100 times with normal settings :(

did you use the mouse software or the os standart software setting?
i mean u have a razor, right? is there an option for usb-poll rate in the setting?
maybe is your mouse broken?
i damage some mouse too in affect..... :roll:

mouse is fine

using razer drivers and used 2 diff firmware versions

its set to 1800dpi 1000hz, tried at 900dpi 500 and 125hz

:P


i think i need to get my mouse working at 85hz/85fps or :(

use my tft, which only doesnt totally suck for ut with 1440x900 lol : / its not 1/10th as sharp as my crt : /

lol

i played on jolt with andres opengl

1440x900x32 probly 60hz 200 fps(my widescreen tft)

its pretty unplayable, those ppl i did see i made sum sick shots on, rly sick lol

but i kept missing jumps and dodges(yes jumps)

you cant import my settings 1:1 because you have to testing u graphiccard for best results.
I played on my old pc with different settings, the D3D8 Renderer under XP with Radeon 9500 works much better as opengl.
But now under VistaX64 sucks it and D3D9 too.
if you sure there is not a hardwaredamage with your mouse/keyboard?
